Giving a minute of silence for the hope of any Doctor but Ten being back for the 50th anniversary special.
This is not supposed to be a fanfest. Absolutely not. Which is why Ten/Rose will be the only ones returning.

Bernard Cribbins was a great asset, hilarious, quick-witted, and his character really brought another perspective to the show. I understand the need to have companion in their twenties, the running... No, in fact, I don't understand; there is not that much running. Why don't we have older companions? Sorry. Yes, Wilf was perfect.

"the old man prefers the company of the young", like the Dream Lord said—but indeed, Wilf was just wonderfully refreshing. Well, there's also something for the audience there, probably—same way they're doing young and sexy Doctors. But like you said, the audience LOVED Wilf ;)
