There has been stuff

I said I would try and keep posting, so here I post XD
There has been nice stuff: lots of work, for one, yippee XD Also writing: my Harry Potter got finished, and on time for the birthday of my friend too! :D Phew, that much is out of the way. Productivity-wise… that has been all XD Getting so behind on fandom things, trying not to worry too much about that. Eh, it is what it is. I know people will be understanding, I just hate feeling stuff pile up and the extra pressure that gives, plus my inner OTP starts shrieking. Never mind. ;)
Also, Doctor Who! :D My mother watched Time of the Doctor and Deep Breath last night: she really enjoyed both, and loved Capaldi near-instantly, though she was also very fond of Matt Smith :) In the meantime I watched two thirds of Robot of Sherwood—yeah, still doing the fragmented thing XD It was pretty nice, very fun. A sum-up of my impressions of the season thus far:
Deep Breath
Mostly I really loved the first half XD I had problems with quite a few things. Some of that has been discussed in reaction posts with a few of you already. Some things felt awkward or heavy-handed, most of all the way they seemed to beg the audience to give Twelve a chance through Clara… er, we would have anyway. XD I was a bit iffy about plot things too, but I'm in a bit of a hurry and hate to be negative so I'll call it mixed feelings. However, I really enjoyed seeing Clara in a more vulnerable place, being an actual flawed character and getting further development. And loved the Paternoster gang ♥ (Except for a few iffy details, but yeah XD) And Capaldi is full of greatness. ♥
Into the Dalek
is my favourite thus far. Just very intense, dark and impactful; Capaldi's performance was brilliant, Clara's role was nice, and I really enjoyed Danny's introduction. It's great to see the Daleks be actually scary. And the concept was pretty good.
Robot of Sherwood (two thirds of it =P)
Lots of fun. It's a real comedy riot, a bit overdone sometimes because that's the point of comedy, but sheer entertainment—I was giggling and facepalming along. Twelve was HILARIOUS. Probably not going to stick to my mind strongly or be a favourite, but definitely very nice to watch.
One less-good I noticed there: I like Clara a wee bit less, it's kind of on and off, and I think that episode helped me nail one of the main reasons: the cocky-bossy side, which is already something that put me off about Amy. Moffat girls… =P Oh well.
Will add a bit about that one once I get around to watching the ending :) Hearing the best about Listen, so I'm looking forward to that one, too.
