I swear I don't get all the people who love to bash, but I don't even care. Hello, Twelve. You're damn sexy and it took you 24 hours to turn me into a melted mess everytime I hear your voice. That's well done =)
That being said… Eleven still gets the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Young, old, ginger, female (some other time?). They're IT.

It's wonderful! :D I hadn't been following the speculation at all, I just wanted to embrace the one and only Twelve when he was announced, not get all excited about all kinds of people—so I'd heard his name here and there but hadn't really paid attention. I was so happy when I checked him out though, he looks like he'll be great :D
Fandom will be fandom, people will be people… ;)

I did not follow any of the speculations and was joking about how I wanted him to be approximately every actor/actress/landmark in the UK. Or Mark Gatiss, who would then undertake to have the whole cast fired to play himself Clara, the Master, River, Vastra and every villain. Only John Barrowman would remain in place, because even evil Gatiss cannot resist Barrowman's charm.

All that to conceal the fact that I was a bit worried Moffat would go for another attractive youngster -he has a tendency to be Hitchcock and hire people he would want to look like or find very attractive. He does make a lot of comments about his cast's appearance... Well.

With Capaldi, I know we're in for an emotional, really crazy ride. He is VERY versatile.

Good luck for your work! I'm progressing with your book -Paul Celan happened in the middle of the process-, still fantastic, I'm savouring it!
