In my mind it's not a particularly easy moment for them—post Manhattan and his "retiring" (I've got a fic about that I finished writing ages ago and that will get posted in oh, two months or so? =P), first meeting since he went off traveling with Clara so I was imagining a background of tension, having missed each other/not sure whether to truly admit it or stay on the resentment.
