50th anniversary
Giving a minute of silence for the hope of any Doctor but Ten being back for the 50th anniversary special.
This is not supposed to be a fanfest. Absolutely not. Which is why Ten/Rose will be the only ones returning.
The team's choices are the team's choices, like it or not. Were the false hopes necessary though, I wonder.

She deserves the hell of an apology for his behaviour during their time together... But yes, her return would have made much more sense.
Donna's departure was tragic, but that's another tragedy that just shouldn't be broken…
Tragic, but to me me in an infuriating-how-could-that-be-okay way... I for one really would have no problem with her end being rewritten.
And Jenna-Louise, though she's had less time to prove herself.
Can't believe I didn't mention her *facepalm*. That's what you get for having a long name... Four syllables is a crowd. Of course, she will be brilliant. As far as I'm concerned she already has proven herself.

Indeed to both…

Definitely, but how to do that and still leave her behind? No parallel universe to keep her trapped here. And Donna Noble was going to travel among the stars forever… They all were mind you.
I'm just really annoyed at the treatment of her in End of Time… So she got a random man (at least they could have kept Lee? Library guy? Love a stammer) and that makes it all okay. Well no, cause she's still "so sad, but she can't remember why". But oh right, money and a wedding make it all okay! I would have loved for her to find something she loved and that thrilled her for HERSELF. A better career, a passion. Travelling still, if only on Earth!
Of course, she will be brilliant. As far as I'm concerned she already has proven herself.
Me too ;)

THIS is painfully acccurate and, yes, exactly why I hate everything about her ending.

Ah well. Wilfred makes up for it? =/

But Wilf, oh Wilf, the only companion on which the fandom agrees. Bernard Cribbins was a great asset, hilarious, quick-witted, and his character really brought another perspective to the show. I understand the need to have companion in their twenties, the running... No, in fact, I don't understand; there is not that much running. Why don't we have older companions? Sorry. Yes, Wilf was perfect.

Exactly. *sigh*
"the old man prefers the company of the young", like the Dream Lord said—but indeed, Wilf was just wonderfully refreshing. Well, there's also something for the audience there, probably—same way they're doing young and sexy Doctors. But like you said, the audience LOVED Wilf ;)

This is exactly the reason someone I know used to explain why she could never be a fan of DW: young and sexy.
