Okay, I see—that’s really the best, being in-between, you get advantages from both. It’s harder when you’re completely cut off from the country.
Haha, that’s okay, I get ridiculous misunderstandings too :D Little dogs just seem to be the nastiest for some reason.
Haha, I can’t but agree with that. Bring me all the trauma! ;)
*nods* I get that. I did enjoy the simplicity and ingenuity of the episodes, but I agree that it wasn’t the kind of thing to have you hooked and at the edge of your seat—the appeal was different. And yes, the time of watching also counts—I was discussing this with a friend while I was watching and she advised me to go back for Nine right as I finished Ten, so I’d go through all of RTD before discovering Moffat, because else the change in tone and the way of handling the storylines would be too great and I wouldn’t be able to enjoy s1 anymore. She was probably right…
Yes, a surprise with Twelve sounds likely to me too. Things are just… too close to what we would easily imagine, falling into place too neatly. Twelve being older and fiercer, which completely fits the impression Capaldi gives, partly because of the Malcolm effect… It’s too simple! It feels like we’ll have the bliss of his acting but no surprise at all, which just doesn’t sound likely. So yes, trolling is very possible. After all, he had us believe there would be no old Doctors in the anniversary. :D
