You know, each time I read your Doctor Who stories, I feel like I get to know the characters a lot more. I haven't watched the show Doctor Who but each time I read these little stories I really want to watch it.
First thing that I have to say is that I loved the hurt/comfort moments in this fic. I really enjoyed the story because these characters seemed so human. When River wants to comfort the Doctor but doesn't know how or when she knows he needs somebody and knows that it couldn't be her, I felt this lump at the back of my throat.
Again, great job with this story! I look forward to reading more of your works.
