Interesting DW links + OMFG NOVEL DONE
First thing—HOLY SHIT, MY NOVEL IS DONE. Wrapped it up today at 73K. Wowwww. *breathes* That's one huge thing dealt with, guys. It's so very raw and I'll need to edit the hell out of it, but it's there. And now I can get back to work/have a bit more time for shows =P (Last OUaT ep and Adventure of Space and Time, then CLASSIC!WHO. Oh, I'm so excited to start watching that again ♥)

Now comes the fun of editing it and polishing it up (I actually like the editing phase, just so long as I remember to save a copy and edit the copy so I always have the original in case anything happens. I hate it when I change something, then decide I liked it better the first way, but now I can't change it back because I overwrote it. Argh! Always keep a spare copy of whatever you start with.)

Welllll, Ten did state that he diverted his regeneration energy, enough to create a full body out of the hand. So maybe it isn't about a count of bodies per se, but the amount of energy required to generate thirteen of them (taking into account that he could use a bit of energy for things like healing River's wrist. OHHHHH, just IMAGINE if she knew that he was running out and that was why she snapped at him for wasting regeneration energy on her!!!).

XD I think Ten didn't care about wasting up the regeneration energy at this point, he just wanted to keep that body :D Shallowness, not-the-right-time-dammit, not wanting to put Rose through another regeneration or had he already seen Eleven without knowing? ;P (Nah… the only place I can settle the Ten/Eleven encounter headcanon-wise is during the specials, what about you? No current companion, and it makes sense with the post-WoM Liz I reference. Only thing, it wasn't really lost!Ten there. But oh well, the rest fits.)

(Or he was the worst he'd ever been and the next one would be even... more... worse, depending on which shade of Time Lord Victorious he was.) Wouldn't he eventually have realised he'd use it all up and that he'd die for real, though? Or maybe he'd have liked that body to be the very last.

Interesting about the Christmas Special, though - "I'm dying and there's nothing I can do about it." Will it be a long, drawn-out kind of regeneration, or will it be sudden, closer to the end? It sounds like the former to me, which will probably lead to all sorts of angst. God, I really hope that River's there, somehow. It's irrational, but I can't help it.
