Classic!Who s4—The Tenth Planet and goodbye, One ♥

Goodbye, One and amazing William Hartnell. My first classic Doctor ♥ (Much looking forward to Two! There was none of him in the ep but his face, but I'll probably watch the first part of Power of the Daleks this afternoon.)

The Tenth Planet was lovely! It felt great to watch an episode that wasn't a recon, but the very last part, which was a recon, was a different one for some reason—don't know if it was exceptional or if they'll always be like that from now on—and the quality was quite good, I didn't mind it at all. I really enjoyed it. Plot was good. Loved the ruthless soldiers, especially that general that kept getting in everyone's face. "I don't like your tone, sir." / "And I don't like your face, nor your hair." Eeeep, what's wrong with One's hair? XD Loved the Cybermen with their weird, hilarious voices and their look—it was so interesting to see the beginnings of them! Ben and Polly were okay. Ben had good ideas sometimes, that was nice. And One! My beloved. ♥ I got a bit worried when he passed out for… all of part three at least? I was like "NO GIVE ME ALL THE ONE BEFORE HE HAS TO GO." But he was there all along part four, and he was great, and he commented about his body wearing a bit thin and Ben and Polly were like "wut", and then he kept pressing to go back to the TARDIS when he could feel he was about to regenerate and there was that sense of urgency and yes. I liked his regeneration a lot. Oneeee! ♥

I watched, too watched all of Hartnell's episodes, including the recons, and really enjoyed that era of the show. I'm glad that now, in the 50th year, Hartnell is getting more shout-outs and more credit for what he was able to do (against tough personal odds, I might add).

Indeed ♥ Hartnell being my only classic Doctor, I enjoyed the Adventure of Space and Time tribute all the more… so, so beautiful. He's the original one, and he was brilliant.

I liked his regen, too! It fit One very well. (Imagine how confused everyone watching it live must have been O_o.)

Yes, exactly! XDDD It's not even really explained! Body wears a bit thin, poof, here comes the new one. Plus he kind of says in the following ep that the power comes from the TARDIS…?! And Troughton's introduction is incredible, first regeneration, it's like he doesn't even know who he is anymore ♥♥♥ SO CONFUSING! XD

Oh, you've started on Two?! That's awesome!

Lol, the Doctor probably guesses it comes from the TARDIS because he didn't pay attention in school. XD

Yes! His very first part only, but there's that :D
Hahaha, that is a PERFECT headcanon ♥
