Tbh, there wasn't that much of a research effort—I've been a Bellatrix nutter for all of my teen years, so I'm highly familiar with the Black family tree at least on the generation above, I just had to keep the tree close as I was writing, check the dates and names and pick the characters I wanted to feature most prominently and bingo. The main thing was keeping the transitions relatively smooth and trying to make the relations clear most of all, not like "they're all related, fuck if I know how" XD

I had my wicked fun with the irony about how Sirius would turn out, definitely :D
